In the current CoVid-19 situation Microsoft has now started offering discounts on the Microsoft Meeting and the calling licenses for the existing Enterprise Customers.

Microsoft Advanced Communications License

35% Discount on the Microsoft Advanced Communications License which provides mainly the below features: -

·         Contact Center solution Graph API Access

·         Live event of up to 20K participants

New Feature Release coming in November 2020

·         1,000-person Interactive Teams Meetings

·         Customized Lobby with Branding capability

·         Large Overflow Meetings

For the meeting features, the meeting organizer needs to be licensed. Attendees do not need to be licensed. You cannot purchase specific features out of Advanced Communications. You will have to buy the SKU accordingly.


Microsoft PSTN Audio Conferencing Discounts

For the Enterprise Customers with either of the Enterprise Licenses are eligible for Free Microsoft Audio Conferencing Add-on till the end of Enrollment although the free services are available only till the end of through January 31st, 2021. This Feature is available Worldwide with the Exceptions of India and China.

For Eligible for CSP and Web Direct customers, Available Starting October 1st, 2020 through March 31st, 2021, Get Audio Conferencing for free for 12 months, with paid Microsoft 365 or Office 365 licenses with Microsoft Teams without Audio Conferencing add-on or Microsoft 365 E5. Microsoft Teams Voice Gets Enhanced with New PSTN Call Routing Feature

Microsoft Teams Voice has recently added a new feature that allows administrators to control how PSTN calls are routed to user accounts. This is a critical feature for many organizations, as it allows them to separate PSTN calls from internal calls. The new feature is part of Microsoft Teams Calling Policy. To enable it, administrators need to log in to the Teams Admin Centre and navigate to the Voice section. Under Teams Calling Policy, they will see two options for PSTN calls: Inbound PSTN: This option covers any incoming call coming into the tenant via Direct Routing, Microsoft Calling Plan, or Operator Connect. Inbound federated: This option covers any incoming non-PSTN call that is originating outside your own tenant. Once administrators have selected the desired option, they need to click Save. Microsoft Teams has added new features for Delegate. One of the key features added recently is Call Barge. Is this the start of the Contact Centre Development within Microsoft?
